I believe our bodies contain all the medicine we need. Yet the stressors of modern life can deplete our reserves faster than our bodies can build back up, so it can be helpful to complement other wellness practices (like sleep and a clean diet) with certain natural supplements. Rather than an exhaustive or prescriptive collection, I provide here a short list of foods / herbs / spices and bottled supplements whose positive impact I’ve directly witnessed in myself and those close to me.
In my opinion, the best way to determine which supplements you need is to tune in to your breath and body, then walk the supplements section of your local health foods store and pick up whatever calls to you. Your body knows.
